BJP leader and MP Meenakshi Lekhi appealed to Delhi Police Monday to register an FIR in the case of a woman who has allegedly complained of sexual harassment at the Congress' social media office. 

Lekhi also asked Delhi Police to ensure the safety of the woman. 

News reports quoted Lekhi as saying the woman was a former employee of the Congress' social media office, and that she had made the complaint of sexual harassment against a co-worker. 

The reports also quoted Lekhi as saying the accused was under the direct supervision of the Congress' social media in-charge Divya Spandana. 

"We appeal to Delhi Police to register an FIR and also ensure the safety of a girl who has complained of sexual harassment at the social media office of Congress party," ANI quoted Lekhi as saying. 

There has been no response from the Congress so far.
