Bihar: Doctor tied to tree, wife & daughter gang-raped by 20 men

A fifteen-year girl was allegedly gang-raped in Gaya, Bihar on Wednesday along with her mother in front of her father as he was tied to the tree.

According to news reports, the family -- mother, father and the daughter -- was passing by Sondiha area while they were heading home on a motorcycle they were stopped by twenty miscreants who reportedly were carrying firearms.

Media reports say that they were surrounded by the group of twenty people who then got involved in a brawl with the father, after which the group tied the man to the tree.

The miscreants then allegedly gang-raped the mother and the daughter.

The local police immediately launchedan investigation after which the officer-in-charge of Konch police station has been suspended for negligence.

The police have also detained all twenty men who were involved in the case.

Eleven of the miscreants were arrested on Thursday night and the rest were taken into custody on Friday morning with the help of locals.

The further probe of the case is still underway.
