The rural development minister of Delhi government,Gopal Rai, on Sunday announced a compensation of Rs 5 Lakh tonext of kin of the victims and Rs 1 lakh to the injured in the Bawana fire incident.

He also said that an investigation was underway to find the reason for the fire.

" MCD issues license. Delhi government issues license too. The investigation is underway, Probe will reveal who is responsible for the fire," he said.

The Delhi Police Commissioner hastransferred the investigation of the Bawana Fire to Crime branch.
