Anupam Kher's look as former PM Dr Manmohan Singh from 'The Accidental Prime Minister' is on point

Kher makes for a very convincing Manmohan Singh.
Anupam Kher is all set to play former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan SIngh in the film 'The Accidental Prime Minister'. The film is based on a book by the same name by Sanjaya Baru, a former media advisor to Manmohan Singh.
On Thursday, Kher took to Twitter to share the first look of his character and we've got to admit, the actor nails the look. Looking like a spitting image of the former PM, Kher tweeted, "Happy to share my first look of #DrManmohanSingh, India’s Former Prime Minister from the movie #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister directed by #VijayRatnakarGutte & produced by #BohraBrothers. Creative producer is @mehtahansal. Film is based on #SanjayBaru’s book with the same title."
Calling his role 'challenging', the actor said, "The opportunity of portraying a contemporary personality like Dr Manmohan Singh in `The Accidental Prime Minister` is an immense challenge for me as an actor. He is part of a 24/7 media era where the world knows his persona minutely.
"I have been internalising this character for the past few months. I look forward to translating that effort into cinematic reality."
The movie is directed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, along with Hansal Mehta as the creative producer and also features Akshaye Khanna as Baru.
The script OF the film, produced by Bohra Bros, is written by Mayank Tewari and a great part of the film will be shot in London. It is slated to release on December 21.
