In a disturbing incident in Bengal, a girl was brutally gang-raped in South Dinajpur.
The 18-year-old was abducted by six to seven people and gang-raped with such brutality that even her genitals were pulled out.
The girl had at the time been returning from a local fair at Kushmandi village. She was left to die after the assault on her.

She was however spotted by some locals who took her to the nearest hospital.
The girl is in critical condition and has been referred to Malda Medical College.
Police have recorded her statement and so far one person has been arrested and one has detained.
