Union Home Minister and party president Amit Shah is expected to continue as the party chief till December this year, a report stated. Shah will remain the party president to oversee important state elections in Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the report added. Amit Shah` s three-year term as BJP chief ended earlier this year, but he was asked to continue till the completion of party engineering. Shah on Thursday held the first meeting of all state chiefs after the historic victory of BJP in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. The meeting was organised at the BJP headquarters in Delhi and was attended by state in-charges and other senior states functionaries.
