After husband, Sakshi Dhoni applies for arms licence

According to reports, Sakshi Dhoni, wife of former Indian men's cricket captain MS Dhoni, has applied for an arms licence in order to own a personal gun as she has expressed a threat to her security. The reports also say that her application for the licence is still being processed at Ranchi Magistrate's office. After the approval, she intends to get a pistol or a .32 revolver for her protection.

Sakshi Dhoni allegedly claimed that she stays alone at home with her daughter Ziva as her husband, MS Dhoni, travels most of the time with Indian men's cricket team.

MSD already has a gun licence which he obtained in 2010 and also enjoys Y category security from the Jharkhand government.

Dhoni's house in Jharkhand receives police protection throughout the year, with special arrangements made on sensitive occasions for extra safety.
