At Samsung plant, Adityanath says Korean prince married princess of Ayodhya

An emotionally charged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that South Korea and Uttar Pradesh share an emotional relationship and claimed that princess of Ayodhya got married to the prince of Korea 200 years ago.

''South Korea and Uttar Pradesh have an emotional relationship. About 2000 years back the princess of Ayodhya got married to the prince of Korea,'' news agency ANI quotingAdityanath stated after the inauguration of Samsung mobile factory in Noida.

Seconding Adityanath's claim, South Korea President Moon Jae-in statedUttar Pradesh and Korea share relation which is 2000 years old.

Both Adityanath and Moon were addressing the audience after Moon and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modiinaugurated the 35 acres Samsung mobile factory -- world's largest mobile factory -- in Noida.
