In the wake of the Aam Aadmi Party's protest march to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, the Delhi Metro has decided to shut down five stations on Sunday.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has closed the entry and exit from Lok Kalyan Marg station from 12 noon. The DMRC further shut down the Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, Patel Chowk and Janpath stations at 2 pm.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has been camping at the official accommodation-cum-office of L-G Anil Baijal since Monday.
The CM is staging a protest along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Cabinet ministers Satyendra Jain and Gopal Rai.
The protest seeks an end to the Delhi IAS officers' undeclared strike and approval to his government's proposal for doorstep delivery of ration to the poor.
