
From media reports, experiences and theory, it is known that Indian roads are deadly. A report released by the Union and road transport and highways ministry provides statistical data to further reinforce that this is indeed a fact.There were as many as 17 deaths and 55 road accidents every hour in the country 2016--one among the highest in the world.
