24 flights diverted from Delhi after heavy duststorm

Twenty-four incoming flights have been diverted from the Delhi after a duststorm and rain hit the national capital on Friday evening.

The change in the weather has brought a much-awaited respite in parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) reeling under warm weather conditions for the past several days.

Thunderstorm and dust storm are expected to persist for the next 24-48 hours.

A hailstorm is also expected over the adjoining areas of Mathura and Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh and thunderstrom with rain is anticipated over the cities of of Hathras, Aligarh, Meerut, and Baghpat during the evening.
