2 injured after terrorist attack in J&K's Shopian

A security guard and a civilian sustained injuries today in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district after a terrorist attack.

A group of terrorists in the afternoon had barged into J&K bank in Kulgam and disarmed the security guard of the bank.

A gun battle that followed later between the terrorists and the guards injured two people. 

According to local media reports, the terrorists had attacked the bank with an intention of looting cash. 

Following the terrorist attack, the security forces in the region have launched a cordon and search operation near Lal chowk after noticing suspicious movement in the area.
