Two people died and five others sustained injuries as heavy rains lashed Mumbai resulting in waterlogging at various localities, reported news agency ANI.
Traffic movements have been hit in Khar, Andheri and Malad subways due to waterlogging, according to reports.

There is some water accumulation at Sion as well due to continuous rains but trains are running on all three lines of Central Railway (Main line, Harbour and Trans-harbour) with a delay of 5-7 minutes, according to Central Railway sources.
Rainfall recorded from 8.30 am yesterday till 5.30am today morning has been at Colaba observatory 90 mm and Santacruz 195 mm.
The IMD has forecast continuous rains and thundershowers over Mumbai city and suburbs today with some areas experiencing heavy to very heavy rains.
Meanwhile, seven cars were damaged after wall of an under-construction building collapsed at around 4.45 am in Wadala's Antop Hillfollowing heavy rains.
