NCP-SCP chief Sharad Pawar said, "Yesterday, PM Modi was in the South, he was talking about a small island given to Sri Lanka during Indira Gandhi's time. This matter did not come to the public's attention before this, On one hand, PM Modi attacked Indira Gandhi who is not alive today and on the other hand, he did not say anything about the thousands of square kilometres of our land that China took, he ignores it and focuses on small things, he does not take the responsibility of looking after national interest seriously..."

“After staying out of power for just 10 years, they (Congress) have started talking about igniting fire in India. Will you punish such people? This time don’t let them be in the field. Congress doesn’t have faith in democracy now. Congress wants to push India towards anarchy and instability. In Karnataka, a Congress leader spoke about dividing the country into two parts. Shouldn’t those who talk about dividing the country be punished? Instead of punishing him, the Congress gave their leader an election ticket,” said PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, stating that the "prince" from the opposition party's "royal family" has warned that the country will face turmoil if the BJP regains power. Addressing a BJP rally in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, the Prime Minister remarked, "After governing the nation for 60 years, they now speak of igniting unrest just after a decade out of power."

The Congress party criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his visit to Uttarakhand, alleged rampant unemployment and a deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
In a series of posts on X, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh claimed that the BJP government has been "disappointingly ineffective" in addressing the state's biggest challenges of unemployment and migration.
"In 2021, an RTI revealed that 5 lakh people have migrated out of the state in the last 10 years – and the rate of migration is only increasing. National Statistical Office (NSO) data from 2020 shows alarmingly high rates of unemployment, with nearly one third of Uttarakhand’s urban youth being unemployed….What is PM Modi’s government doing to stem this mass exodus from the state, to solve the pressing unemployment crisis, or at the least to end this constant stream of paper leaks?" he asked.
Ramesh also expressed hope that the PM will take this opportunity to address three key questions "about why his government has failed" to make any meaningful improvements in the state.
As PM Modi visits Rajasthan today afternoon, we hope that he will take this opportunity to address his many unfulfilled commitments to the people of Rajasthan:

Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) president Pashupati Kumar Paras met with BJP national president JP Nadda dispelling rift speculations.
Paras had resigned from the central cabinet over seat allotment disagreements, accusing the BJP of injustice. The NDA had set aside five Lok Sabha seats in Bihar for the Chirang Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), including Hajipur which Paras currently represents in the Lok Sabha.
However, after the meeting, Nadda confirmed that "Our alliance will remain strong going into the Lok Sabha elections and his (Paras’s) party will extend full support to all 40 NDA candidates in Bihar. He will throw his weight behind our candidates and ensure their victory in the elections."

In response to Atishi's allegation that the BJP tried to coerce her into joining them or face arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has accused Arvind Kejriwal of fooling her.
"No one except Arvind Kejriwal has fooled you. He has destroyed several lives before her," said Sirsa in a video statement on Tuesday (Apr 2).
He challenged Atishi to reveal the name of her close aide who allegedly received the threat from the BJP.
"Atishi claims that he has gotten a message. She should reveal the name of her close aide so that the ED can arrest him."
Sirsa stated that the BJP would not accept a corrupt leader like Atishi "and even will not allow her to walk outside its office".

He also hinted at a power struggle within the AAP, suggesting that Kejriwal wants to put them in jail instead of making them Chief Minister.
"When Arvind Kejriwal gave their names to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), they felt that they are the next in turn because Kejriwal has given them away."
"This is because Arvind Kejriwal does not want to make them Chief Minister. He wants to put them in jai. So they are scared," he said.
Other BJP leaders, including Harish Khurana and RP Singh, supported Sirsa's stance, accusing Atishi of creating a sensation and diverting attention from real issues. They claimed there is an internal tussle within the AAP for the Chief Minister's post.
"This is their internal tussle, which is coming out again and again in different manners. The truth is that action will be taken against all whose names are involved in the matter…It is clear that the fight for the CM post has begun in AAP. Saurabh Bharadwaj and Atishi are on one side and Sunita Kejriwal and Arvind Kejriwal are on the other side," said Singh.

Madhya Pradesh Minister and BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya expressed confidence in winning the Chhindwara parliamentary seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, stating that the lotus would bloom there.
Referring to the Nath family, he criticised their "dictatorship" and "hooliganism" and assured people of protection under BJP rule.
"The lotus will bloom 100 per cent here. People are now fed up with the dictatorship of a family (Nath family), the hooliganism of a family and with the pressure of a family. We have said that we will provide them protection. Anyway, there is a BJP government at the centre and in the state. If the BJP MP wins, then development will definitely happen. People have understood this and this time they are joining the BJP willingly for development," he said.

Ajay Nishad, the former BJP MP who announced his resignation from all posts and primary membership of the party, saying he was "shocked by the betrayal of BJP," will be joining Congress.
As per an ANI report, the two time Muzaffarpur MP was denied ticket by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Talking to the news agency, Nishad said he was disappointed by the denial of the ticket and that's the reason he will join the Congress Party today.
The BJP, in its fifth list of candidates, has chosen Raj Bhushan Nishad from Muzaffarpur to contest the upcoming election. Interestingly, Raj Bhushan Nishad had suffered a defeat at the hands of Ajay Nishad in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, losing by a massive margin of over 410,000 votes.
