'Modi ji has done a lot of work for the welfare of farmers. During the Congress rule (2013-14), the budget for farmers was only Rs 22 thousand crores. Modi ji worked to increase it to Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand crore. Modi government worked to give 6 thousand rupees annually to the farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi,' BJP leader Amit Shah said.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra whole addressing a public meeting in Rajasthan's Jalore said, "Your biggest problem is inflation. I believe that Modiji is not able to understand that. When there is too much power, people do not tell the truth. Officers and colleagues are scared of telling him about the reality and then the individual gets cut off from people."

Pawan Kumar Tinu, former Akali MLA, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He would most likely run for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat.

"Look at the situation of INDI alliance, they are not able to decide that manifesto is a responsibility, a commitment to the people of the country...There are many dangerous promises in their manifesto. Their manifesto is to make the country financially bankrupt. One of their companion's manifesto says that they will eliminate nuclear weapons from India. Will any country think like this? Nuclear weapons are necessary for India in today's era... When the enemies have so much power and we say that we will destroy nuclear weapons, for whose benefit are you saying this? People are making such a promise. Can they protect the country? Just like their thinking, their manifesto is also dangerous," PM Modi said at rally in MP.

Addressing a rally, PM Narendra Modi said, "For many decades after independence, one family of Congress has run the government directly or through remote control. This family had imposed an Emergency in the country. The Congress used to demolish democratic governments across the country whenever they wanted, like a castle of cards. According to Congress, democracy was going well at that time but as soon as the son of a poor family became the Prime Minister, Congress started spreading rumors that Modi has come, Constitution and democracy would be in danger. Congress people don't know that this is Baba Saheb's Constitution and because of that Modi has reached here..."

“Today, the entire country is disappointed with BJP’s manifesto because BJP isn’t contesting the elections for the first time. They were given 10 years to do something. Youths are disappointed. 83 per cent of youth are unemployed and the government has no solution,” says Delhi Minister and AAP leader Gopal Rai

"...He (PM Narendra Modi) had said that he will double farmers' income. He had said that he would increase MSP and give a legal guarantee - this is the guarantee. He didn't do any such big work in his tenure that would benefit all the people of the country," said Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge after BJP released its manifesto.

He added, "The youth is looking for jobs. Inflation is rising. He is not worried about inflation, unemployment...In 10 years, this man couldn't do anything for the poor. It is not correct to trust his manifesto. It proves that he has nothing to offer people..."

"BJP will also expand Vande Bharat trains to every corner of the country.  3 models of Vande Bharat will run in the country - Vande Bharat Sleeper, Vande Bharat Chaircar and Vande Bharat Metro," said PM Modi. 

He added, "Today the work of the Ahmedabad Mumbai Bullet Train is going on in full swing and is almost reaching completion. In the same way, one Bullet Train will run in North India, one Bullet Train in South India and one Bullet Train in Eastern India. Survey work for this will also be started soon."

“Modi worships those, about whom nobody cared. BJP has initiated to include transgenders into the range of Ayushman Bharat. BJP, today, is showing direction to the world in women-led development. The last 10 years were focused on women's dignity and granting new opportunities to women," said PM Modi at the release of the party's manifesto. 

He added, "The coming 5 years will be focused on the participation of women-power. In the last 10 years, 10 crore women associated with self-help groups. These groups will now receive training in IT, education, health, retail, and tourism sector."

"The entire country waits for the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra'. There is a big reason behind it as in the last 10 years, the BJP has implemented every point of its manifesto as a guarantee on the ground," said PM Modi on the release of BJP's election manifesto - 'Sankalp Patra'. 

He added, "This 'Sankalp Patra' empowers all the 4 strong pillars of developed India- Youth, women, poor and farmers..." 

"It is Modi's guarantee that the free ration scheme will continue for the next 5 years..."

"I am happy and satisfied that under PM Modi's leadership, we have fulfilled all our promises that we made to the people of the country...Through its 'Sankalp Patra', BJP presents the roadmap to a self-respecting and capable India as well as presents its commitment to welfare and development of every section of society in the country," said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and head of the Manifesto Committee. 

“We all have gathered here today on the occasion of the launch of ‘Sankalp Patra’. It will include how we (BJP) will serve the nation under the leadership of PM Modi," said BJP President JP Nadda. 

He added, "Today is Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary and we all know how he fought to seek social justice his entire life. We (BJP) will always walk on his path, doesn’t matter if we are in power or not". 

"Work has been done to connect 60, 000 new villages with pucca roads and all-weather roads have been built. We had never imagined that villages would be empowered, or optical fibre would reach villages too," said BJP national president JP Nadda ahead of manifesto release. 

He added, "But today I am happy that under your leadership, 1.2 lakh panchayats have been connected with optical fibre and they have also been connected with internet facilities... 25 crore people of India's population have now risen above the poverty line."
