'Modi ji has done a lot of work for the welfare of farmers. During the Congress rule (2013-14), the budget for farmers was only Rs 22 thousand crores. Modi ji worked to increase it to Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand crore. Modi government worked to give 6 thousand rupees annually to the farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi,' BJP leader Amit Shah said.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra whole addressing a public meeting in Rajasthan's Jalore said, "Your biggest problem is inflation. I believe that Modiji is not able to understand that. When there is too much power, people do not tell the truth. Officers and colleagues are scared of telling him about the reality and then the individual gets cut off from people."

This family had imposed an Emergency in the country. The Congress used to demolish democratic governments across the country whenever they wanted, like a castle of cards. According to Congress, democracy was going well at that time but as soon as the son of a poor family became the Prime Minister, Congress started spreading rumors that Modi has come, Constitution and democracy would be in danger. Congress people don't know that this is Baba Saheb's Constitution and because of that Modi has reached here..."

"...He (PM Narendra Modi) had said that he will double farmers' income. He had said that he would increase MSP and give a legal guarantee - this is the guarantee. He didn't do any such big work in his tenure that would benefit all the people of the country," said Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge after BJP released its manifesto.
He added, "The youth is looking for jobs. Inflation is rising. He is not worried about inflation, unemployment...In 10 years, this man couldn't do anything for the poor. It is not correct to trust his manifesto. It proves that he has nothing to offer people..."

"BJP will also expand Vande Bharat trains to every corner of the country. 3 models of Vande Bharat will run in the country - Vande Bharat Sleeper, Vande Bharat Chaircar and Vande Bharat Metro," said PM Modi.
He added, "Today the work of the Ahmedabad Mumbai Bullet Train is going on in full swing and is almost reaching completion. In the same way, one Bullet Train will run in North India, one Bullet Train in South India and one Bullet Train in Eastern India. Survey work for this will also be started soon."

He added, "The coming 5 years will be focused on the participation of women-power. In the last 10 years, 10 crore women associated with self-help groups. These groups will now receive training in IT, education, health, retail, and tourism sector."

"Work has been done to connect 60, 000 new villages with pucca roads and all-weather roads have been built. We had never imagined that villages would be empowered, or optical fibre would reach villages too," said BJP national president JP Nadda ahead of manifesto release.
He added, "But today I am happy that under your leadership, 1.2 lakh panchayats have been connected with optical fibre and they have also been connected with internet facilities... 25 crore people of India's population have now risen above the poverty line."
