
Arunachal Pradesh Lok Sabha Elections Results 2024:In the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, the BJP won both the Lok Sabha seats on Tuesday (June 4).
Arunachal Pradesh went into polling mode for the Lok Sabha Elections on April 19 to elect two members of parliament from the state. In theLok Sabha elections in 2019 too the BJP had won both the seats.
Arunachal East, and Arunachal West are the two constituencies in the state. Tapir Gao of the BJP won the Arunachal East constituency in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, securing 1,53,883 votes while 83,935 votes were polled in favour of Lowangcha Wanglat of the INC. Tapir Gao had won with a massive margin of 69,948 votes.
A resurgent BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has registered two successive election victories - in 2014 and 2019. The Modi juggernaut has helped the saffron party consolidate its position in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
