Outgoing Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Kylian Mbappe is excited for his future but not sure where. The footballer, after playing his last home game for PSG, was named Ligue 1 Player of the Year on Monday (May 13) for the fifth time in a row. Mbappe spent seven seasons with PSG and around 10 years in total at the French football league.
"It's a chapter of my life that is ending. Ligue 1 has been a major part of my career," Mbappé told the audience at the award ceremony.
"Now I'm turning a new page in my life. What comes next is very exciting, but that's another matter...I want to thank my family, who've always supported me in the good and bad times. I know it was very important for my father that I made history in Ligue 1 before leaving, and I think, with humility, that I've done that," he added.

The French national team captain is widely speculated to join LaLiga giants Real Madrid after his contract expires. Mbappe, however, declined to comment on the same on Monday.
"I think that in life you have to choose the right moment for everything," Mbappé said. "The only thing I know is that I'm leaving PSG. As for the rest, it isn't the right moment to know that," he added.

LaLiga president Javier Tebas, however, claimed that the French footballer would be joining Real Madrid on a five-year contract.
"He'll be at Madrid next season," Tebas told the Argentinian newspaper Ole. "He's one of the best players in the world. But they also have Vinícius [Júnior] and [Jude] Bellingham. Madrid are going to have a great squad, although of course, that doesn't guarantee winning championships."
Real Madrid, the winner of five Champions League titles since 2014, will be looking to add more silverware when they take on Borussia Dortmund on June 1 in the final.
