One month down for the new year and Vicky Kaushal is already making the most of it as his film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ continues to rule the box office.

‘Uri’ remains on top in spite of many other films releasing like ‘Thackeray’, ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’ in the recent weeks.

According to recent trade reports, the war drama has now equalled the fourth highest Saturday gross of superhit Prabhas' film ‘Baahubali 2’. This is a huge feat for ‘Uri’ as the epic fantasy film not only was a big hit in India but also overseas.

‘Uri’ stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina and many others in significant roles. The film is a dramatised account of the Uri attack of 2016 that Indian Army carried out against infiltrators.
