It immediately made news and captivated the attention of audiences. Abhinay also said that "The poster of the film is only the first look. There are several more layers that audiences will understand once they watch the trailer".

The trailer, which was released on 28 June, showcases the protagonist, Plabita Borthakur interwoven with Ganguly’s T-shirt moment and interviews of well-known names associated with the cricketing world like Harsha Bhogle, Rajdeep Sardesai, and Piyush Pandey as they comment on it.

Described as “India’s other freedom struggle”, Ganguly's celebration at the stadium is a moment of emotional liberation for Indians who finally beginto understand their worth.

Narrated through the eyes of a young girl living in a patriarchal society, restricted by societal obligations and social prejudices, it follows her journey as she gets influenced by the win and begins finding freedom in her life.
