Tamil actor and politician Arulmani dies due to heart attack, he was 65

In a shocking news, Tamil actor and politician Arulmani passed away on Thursday (April 11). The actor, who was known for his roles in movies such as Thandavakone, Lingaa, and Azhagidied after suffering a heart attack in Chennai.

Arulmani, 65, suffered a heart attack last night. He was taken to the Government Royapettah Hospital. Despite the doctor's efforts, he did notsurvive.

Apart from acting, Arulmani had been quite activein politics. Being a star promoter ofthe political party AIADMK,in the past ten days, he was busy campaigning for theparty for the fourthcoming Lok Sabha elections. He suffered a heart attack after he arrived at his Chennai home when he was resting.

Arulmani's demise has sent shockwaves amongst his fans and AIADMK workers.

Soon after the news of his death broke, tributes from his fans,friends and the industry started to pourin.

Arulmani was a well-known name in the Tamil film industry. He has been part ofmovies likeSleepless Eyes, Singam 2, Saamaniyan and Thandavakone among others.

Arulmani's death has come as anothershock to the Tamil industry which has seen frequent deaths of celebrities. Actors Seshu, Daniel Balaji and Visheshwar Raopassed away recently due to a heart attack.
