Karan Johar's fantasy college Saint Teresa's is back on the big screen- this time with a new batch of students competing for the coveted 'Dignity Student Of The Year' trophy. The trailer of 'Student Of The Year 2' promises a fullfledged campus romance with a tournament at its core.
Directed by Puneet Malhotra, the film stars Tiger Shroff along with debutants Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday. Actor Aditya Seal plays Shroff's arch-rival in the film.
Opulent sets, elaborate tournaments in the backdrop picturesque location- the college in the film looks straight out of fantasy land. Malhotra seems to have stayed true to the original film in terms of the theme and premise.
The first film marked the debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra- who are now the top stars of Bollywood. Will 'Student Of The Year 2' do the same for its cast? Guess we will have to wait till 10th May to find out.
