Rings Of Power Season 2 premiers in a star-studded event in Singapore, makers call it deeper and bigger

Middle Earth is going to see a few changes. On Thursday, fans and media converged in Singapore for the premiere of Lord Of The Rings: Rings Of Power Season 2, which saw the show's cast, showrunner and director in attendance.
The cast and crew of Prime Video's ambitious show walked the golden carpet in Singapore at the Shaw Theatre ahead of the show's screening.
Showrunner JD Payne, director Charlotte along with actors Charlie Vickers, Markella Kavenagh, Charles Edwards, Megan Richards, Tyrone Muhafidin, Cynthia Addai-Robinson and Trystan Gravelle post on the golden carpet before watching the season 2 episodes in a packed theatre with fans and members of the press.
Rings of Power is based on JRR Tolkien's famous book series which has also been adapted into a film franchise. The series focuses on the younger version of some of the key characters of the popular series and describes the Middl-Earth's Second Age.
JD Payne called the upcoming season 2 'bigger, broader and deeper' on so many levels. Actor Charlie Vickers, who plays the antagonist Sauron, sports a new, different look in Season 2.
Vickers said, "For me, it was about approaching and trying to find a through line from the first season to the second season. He's very good at working his way into people's minds and becoming what they need. So Sauron this season is all about this man Celebrimbor," and pointed towards Charles Edwards. "He comes in a guise and manipulates and makes a lot of rings with him.
Lord Of The Rings: Rings Of Power Season 2 will be streaming on Prime Video from August 29 onwards.
