Rapper Chris Brown arrested on suspicion of rape in Paris

Rapper Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a complaint was filed against him, according to Paris police.

The 29-year-old has been arrested following an investigation into an alleged rape at Le Mandarin Oriental hotel. The singer was reportedly staying at the hotel as he was there to attend the Paris Fashion Week.

A complaint was filed by a 24-year-old woman who claimed that he sexually assaulted her in his hotel room between January 15 and 16 this year. She reportedly met him at Le Crystal club, near Les Champs-Elysees, and followed him back to the hotel.

The alleged rape took place at the hotel, as reported by the police.

Chris is yet to release a statement on the arrest.
