Rani Mukerji will next be seen in ‘Mardaani 2’ as the film is set to go on floors soon.
Bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, ‘Mardaani 2’ will see Rani reprise her fierce cop role of Shivani Shivaji Rao for the sequel. YRF released the first look from the film as Rani looks on donning the uniform of a cop. See the first look here.
YRF captioned the image, "#RaniMukerji dons the cop uniform in #Mardaani2 | @Mardaani2."
‘Mardaani 2’ will be produced by Rani’s husband Aditya Chopra and directed by Gopi Puthran. The first film was directed by Pradeep Sarkar.
There is no official announcement on the date of its release, but YRF has hinted at a debut sometime later this year.
