Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Stree' has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club. The film had opened to good numbers two weeks back and had been ruling the box office ever since.
The quirky horror- comedy has earned 101.43 crores at the box office within 16 days of its release, announced film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh.
Rajkummar also took to social media to thank fans for all the love with a 15-second video.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also starred Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. Released on 31 August, 'Stree' opened to positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike.
`Stree` is an interesting mix of horror with fun and is based on a true phenomenon. Owing to the success of the film, producers Dinesh Vijan is reportedly now planning to make a sequel.
