
We had reported earlier that how Harry Potter star Tom Felton is all set to play a key role in Hansal Mehta's upcoming series Gandhi starring Pratik Gandhi in the titular role.
Now, some BTS images of Gandhi and Felton from the series is doing the rounds. Fans would recall Felton played Harry Potter's nemesis Draco Malfoy in the film series.
The photographs show an all-suited-up Tom playing his character with Pratik. The candid shots have gone viral on the internet in no time.
Mehta's ambitious web series will see Pratik Gandhi in and as Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, while Felton has been cast as Josiah Oldfield, a pivotal figure who helped Gandhi during his time living and studying law in London.
In the images, one can see Tom’s character tasting a dish that Pratik’s Gandhi has made in the kitchen, as well as sharing a smile over what seems to be a document.

The multi-series biopic is an adaptation of historian Ramachandra Guha’s biographies on Mahatma Gandhi, his times, contemporaries and legacy: 'Gandhi before India' and 'Gandhi: The Years that Changed the World'.

Felton is not the only international star onboard Mehta's series. The director had earlier posted on Instagram, “We’re in the thick of our shoot. Thrilled to be directing this stellar international cast — Tom Felton, Libby Mai, Molly Wright, Ralph Adeniyi, James Murray, Lindon Alexander, Jonno Davies, Simon Lennon #Gandhi #GandhiFilmingNow."
The series features, Pratik Gandhi's real wife, actress Bhamini Oza as Kasturba Gandhi.
“I’m excited to be part of the journey of telling the story of Gandhi's early years in London. It's an important aspect of history that hasn't been told on screen before, and to be working with Hansal & Pratik is an honour and pleasure,” Felton, 36, had said earlier in a statement.
Partik Gandhi and Hansal Mehta had earlier collaborated on the popular series Scam 1992.
