Taylor Swift's new album The Tortured Poets Department is something that the entire world is listening to right now. For her 11th studio album, Swift has collaborated with American rapper and singer Post Malone.

Swift and Malone have collaborated on the song ''Fortnight'', and the album’s lead single has already become Spotify’s most-streamed song in a single day since its release. 

Two days after the release, Post Malone went on to pen a heartfelt letter dedicated to Taylor. Sharing a black and white photo showing him and Swift, 34 sitting on a couch, the ''Congratulations'' singer wrote,  “It’s once in a lifetime that someone like @taylorswift13 comes into this world.''

“I am floored by your heart and your mind, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to help you with your journey I love you so much. Thank you Tay," he further wrote.

A day before the release, Swift shared that the first single of her album would be ''Fortnight'' as the musician went on to hail Malone. 

"I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever," the ''Lover'' singer wrote on Instagram.

She continued, "I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight. Honestly can’t wait for you guys to hear this song at Midnight TONIGHT and see the video at 8pm ET TOMORROW."

Featuring Taylor and Malone as lovers, the song has been garnering a lot of love from Swift's millions of fans. Apart from the lyrics and music, the song has been garnering a lot of netizens' reactions to its video. 

The track shows Malone's face all covered up, without his tattoo. At the same time, the video shows Swift's face also covered in tattoos.  Directed by Swift, the song is co-written by the ''Willow'' singer, Malone and Jack Antonoff.
