Oscar winner Ben Affleck is out of rehab, calls addiction a lifelong struggle

Actor Ben Affleck has completed his 40 -day rehabilitation program that aims to fight alcoholism and addiction.

The actor was found suffering from addiction and was also taken to a rehabilitation centre in 2001 and again in 2017 was in ambulatory care.

The actor who gave his admirable performance in 'Batman' and 'Gone Girl' was accompanied with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner to the rehabilitation centre for the treatment.

The actor reveals that he has been fighting alcoholism since long that requires strenuous efforts. 

Casey Afflick, sibling of Ben Afflick had also revealed on an entertainment show called 'Entertainment Tonight' that Ben Affleck and his very son suffer from addiction since long.

Ben Affleck, the Oscar winner said that fighting alcoholism "is a lifelong and difficult struggle."

Posting a comment on Instagram on being taken to the rehab centre, he wrote, "Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle. Because of that one is never really in or out of treatment. It is a full-time commitment. I am fighting for myself and my family."
