On Rajinikanth's birthday, fans to be treated with the teaser of his next 'Petta'

It's Rajinikanth's birthday and he has the perfect giftfor his fans. The makers of 'Petta' will be releasing the first teaser of the film on Wednesday morning. Rajinikanth and Simran star in the film whose first look and music were released a few weeks back.
Since it is the superstar's birthday, makers have decided to use the best moments of the actor from the film and make a special video around him. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rajinikanth collaborates with director Karthik Subbaraj for the first time.
Subbaraj took to Twitter to wish the superstar ahead of the release of the teaser.
He tweeted, " Happy birthday Thalaivaaaaaa!!! Wish you many many more happy returns of this day.... You are always the ONE , the ONLY ONE, the SUPER ONE.... Love you SUPERSTAR!! Thanks for giving me the bestest moments of my life to cherish forever!!"
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth's last release, Shankar's '2.0' is still going strong at the box office. The film hasbecome thehighest grosser of 2018 and earned more than Rs 600 crores worldwide.
The film was a sequel of Shankar's earlier film 'Enthiran' and has Rajinikanth playing a double role- that of a scientist and a Robot. Akshay Kumar plays the baddie in the film.
