
In another jolt to the Indian entertainment industry, actress Noor Malabika Das was found dead in her apartment in Mumbai on June 6. She was 32-years-old. The actress and former air hostess has allegedly died by suicide, as per Mumbai police.
Das was known for her role in the web series The Trialstarring Kajol.
Her body was found in a decomposed condition in her apartment in the Andheri, Oshiwara area by the police.
The police recovered the body after the neighbours complained offoul smell coming from her house.Das' death has been ruleda suicide, although the investigation is still underway.

Despite continuousefforts by the police, no one from her family has came forward to claim the body.Her last rites were performed bythe Mamdani Health and Education Trust NGOon Sunday (June 9). This NGO handles the cremation of unclaimed bodies in the city.
“We spoke to her family. They had returned to their native place two weeks ago. Investigation is underway,” said an officer, asquoted by Mid Day.
Hailing from Assam, the 32-year-old has workedin several Bollywoodfilms and web series including Dekhi Undekhi, Backroad, Hulchul,Siskiyan, Walkman among others. Her most recent role was in Kajol's web series The Trial,the Indian adaptation of the show The Good Wife.
