
‘Sacred Games’ lovers can now rejoice as Netflix confirms the second season with a teaser. After Netflix India left the hit show at a cliffhanger, fans of the show poured in requests to bring the show back as soon as possible. 'Sacred Games'was the first Indian Netflix original.
According to its makers, the second season of the popular show will have Saif Ali Khan continue in the role of a Mumbai cop Sartaj Singh who is trying to save the city. Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ganesh Gaitonde will continue to retain power as the ultimate don of Mumbai (even though he was shown dead in the debut season).
The second season will also introduce Ganesh’s third father, Pankaj Tripathi to us.It will be shot in India and various international locations as well.
'Sacred Games'will continue to be directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan. Vikramaditya Motwane will be the showrunner while script remains with Varun Grover.It is said that some new faces will get added to the narrative.
