Cast and staff behind My Oni Girl anime movie
The upcoming movie has a talented team behind the scenes, with director Tomotaka Shibayama (Co-director of A Whisker Away) leading the charge. Character design by Masafumi Yokota (renowned for Shine on! Bakumatsu Bad Boys) promises stunning visuals. Art directionis ledby Kunihiko Inaba (famed for Burn the Witch and contributions to Drifting Home).
The cast lineup includes Kensho Ono, who plays the role of Hiiragi Yatsuse, and Miyu Tomita, who portrays Tsumugi.
What is the plot of My Oni Girl anime movie?
The official description of My Oni Girl anime movie reads,“Yearning to get along with others and not be disliked, first-year high school student Hiiragi finds himself unable to say no whenever someone requests something of him. One summer day, while unsuccessfully carrying out yet another request, he encounters anonigirl named Tsumugi, who has come to the human world to search for her mother. She does whatever she pleases and is the complete opposite of Hiiragi. Studio Colorido presents this fantasy tale of youth that unfolds over one wintery summer (sic).”
