
Disney unveiled a handful of surprises for moviegoers out there. In athree-hour presentation, the studio delivered back-to-back trailers, first looks, and big announcements of the movies that no one saw coming.
While the big reveals were enough to dominate the night, it was the star appearances and entertaining performances that made the night truly memorable.
During the ultimate fan event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Disney's world, along with its subsidiaries, including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and others, came forward to reveal what they have in store for their millions of fans.
At the three-day event, many studios unveiled a lineup of first looks, trailers, big reveals and more.

Mufasa: The Lion King
The trailer of Mufasa: The Lion King was released at the event. Directed by Barry Jenkins, the upcoming movie focuses on the early life ofMufasa, and how he became the king of Pride Lands. However, the trailer focuses on Mufasa and his best buddy Taka aka Scar.
Snow White
The story of Snow White is coming to the big screen on March 21, 2025.
The trailer of the live-action moviestarsRachel Zegler in the titular role, while Gal Gadot will be playing the Evil Queen. In the trailer, Rachel as Snow White sings and dances around with her dwarfs, whileGal is a dark avatar of the queen.
Freakier Friday
Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan showed up on the stage to unveil the title of the sequel to the 2003 film: Freakier Friday. In the movie, Curtis and Lohan will reprise their roles as Tess and Anna, respectively.
According to Walt Disney Studios, "The new film picks up years after Curtis and Lohan’s characters, Tess and Anna, first endured an identity crisis: Anna has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate challenges that come when two families merge, they discover that lightning might indeed strike twice."
Moana 2
The trailer of the highly-anticipated movie Moana 2 was dropped at Disney D23 in the presence of Dwayne Johnson, who voices Maui, the giant demigod. The trailer takes the audience back into the world of Moana and the adventure, that she's going to embark on.
Avatar: Fire and Ash
It's time for Avatar 3! Director James Cameron disclosed the title of the third Avatar movie, starring Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington. The film will hit the theatres on December 19, 2025.
