Madonna is enjoying her time on the stage with her highest-grossing worldwide tour of 2024, according to Pollstar’s mid-year report of the year. This is in connection with the numbers gathered for her Celebration Tour.
Pollstar’s mid-year report keeps in account the post-pandemic touring boom and examines the music industry as a whole, The report has foundthat after several years of record-setting ticket sales, the growth of live music has settled down in the first half of 2024.
Research agency did not count Taylor Swift's Eras Tour numbers
However, there is one thing to note in the report – that is Pollstar has not kept into account Taylor Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour since it doesn't report its tour figures.
Pollstar, in spite of this, reported that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour was the highest-grossing tour of all time and the first tour ever to cross the $1 billion threshold.
