Kapil Sharma is soon going to be back on the small screen: Reports

There is some good news for Kapil Sharma fans. The TV host will soon be back on the small screen with a new show.

Sharma has been on a break for sometime now. The comedian-anchor's show 'Family Time With Kapil' got a poor response from viewers earlier in March and after a much public spat with his former manager and a journalist, Kapil took a break citing health issues as Sony TV pull the show off air.

Now, sources close to Sharma has said that he will soon be back on teh small screen. "It will be a crisp and fresh project. We are still figuring out whether it will be a new show or the next season of The Kapil Sharma Show,” shared the source.

The source further added, “Kapil is still travelling. He will be back in Mumbai by mid-September. We would then start working on the content. Everything is at a very initial stage at the moment. We are looking forward to launching it during Diwali. Kapil is geared up to produce a quality show that will entertain his audience. He is looking at making another comedy show. We haven’t yet locked the team.”

Fans were left worried a few weeks back when photos of Sharma surfaced online where the comedian appeared to have gained weight. But sources close to him cite that he has hit the gym and has been working hard to get back in shape before his much-anticipated comeback.
