
A day after Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his girlfriend Pavithra Gowda's arrest in the Renukaswamy murder case, new updates have emerged. On Wednesday (June 12), Karnataka police recovered a CCTV footage that showed actor Darshan's red jeep and a Scorpio near the drainwhere Renukaswamy's body was discovered.
However, it isstill not clear whether the actor was inside the jeepor not.The police seized boththe vehicles, whichwere reportedly used for dumping the body.
On Wednesday (June 12), as per News18, police officials recreated the crime scene near the canal with the four suspects in the case. It's still not known who were the four accused taken to the canal area, from where the body was found on June 8. Actor Darshan was not taken to the crime scene.

Ever since the Kannada actor's name emerged in the case, shocking details have come to light. Here are a few key details from the case.
June 9: Renukaswamy's body was discovered at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru by a food delivery boy. After noticing severe injury marks on his body and subsequest autopsy report, police registered a murder case.
June 10: Three individuals, Raghavendra, Karthik, and Kesavamurthy, showed up at the police station, confessing that they had killed Renukaswamy. However, after an investigation, police discovered actor Darshan's connection in the case through calldetails.
June 11: Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his partner Pavithra Gowda were arrested and sent to six-day police custody. Darshan was detained from a hotel in Mysore.
As per the investigation, it has been revealed that the Kannada actor planned to punish Renukaswamy over his derogatory remarks against Pavithra Gowda and his relationship with the actor.
"It was Pavithra who instigated Darshan to punish Renukaswamy. Accordingly, the plan was hatched," a source told the news agency PTI. The actor obtained Renuka's information from Raghavendra, the convenor of his fan club in Chitradurga.
"Darshan engaged the Chitradurga unit of Darshan Fan Club Convenor Raghavendra alias Raghu, who obtained all information about Renukaswamy."
On Friday night (June 7), Raghavendra picked up Renukaswamy from near his house,and took him to a shed in Bengaluru's Kamakshipalya, where he was beaten to death, reported PTI.
"Darshan beat up Renukaswamy with a belt. After he fell unconscious, his accomplices thrashed him with sticks. Further, they threw him against a wall, which proved fatal," sources told news agency PTI.
