Justin Bieber retracts statement, says fight with Tom Cruise tweet was random

Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise have been trending for some days now ever since the singer challenged Cruise for a fight.

In a random tweet, Bieber challenged Cruise and wrote, "I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don't take this fight your [sic] scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?" For those unaware, Dana White is UFA’s president.

After Cruise did not reply to this tweet, Bieber has now taken to Twitter again and retracted his statement. He wrote, “He'd probably whoop my a** in a fight.”

Bieber has now gone on record to say that the tweet was just a joke. In fact, he told TMZ reporters that he didn't know Cruise but hadrandomly tweeted without any reason. The singer said, "I don't know him. He's tight. The story is I saw an interview with him, and he was just on my mind. It was just a random tweet. I do that stuff sometimes."

He added, "Tom, he'd probably whoop my a-- in a fight. If a fight were to actually happen, though, Bieber said he'd "have to get into shape" because he's "really skinny right now."

He continued, "He's a dad right?"

Tom Cruise is a father to 13-year-old Suri with Katie Holmes, a 24-year-old Connor and 26-year-old Isabella with Nicole Kidman.
