In the world of superheroes, if there is one anti-hero who is loved by one and all then it is our very own Joker. While we have seen many actors portray the iconic villainous role, we now have Joaquin Phoenix ready to capture our minds with his rendition to the loved-by-all anti-hero character.

In the trailer released for ‘Joker’, Joaquin takes us through the journey of a failed comedian who goes through several low moments in life to rebrand himself as a terror entity. He then becomes the villain of a corrupt Gotham City.

There’s a lot of visual with the clowns who appear mysteriously on TV, in buses, even normal bystanders in public places who are seen protesting wear the masks. Meanwhile, Joaquin is shown rising from his downfall to becoming a catalyst for a clown-mask-clad revolution.

In the end, Joaquin, who becomes successful in his career, gets invited by Robert De Niro’s character for a show where he demands to be called as a Joker in front of the audience.

The official account of Joker movie shared the trailer on their Twitter handle: “New trailer. #JokerMovie - in theaters October 4, this tweet to be the first to hear about exclusive content leading up to the opening weekend.”
