‘It’s okay to cry’: Diljit Dosanjh slams netizens who troll women crying at his concert

Global star Diljit Dosanjh has been a household name when it comes to live concerts. Ever since the beginning of the Dil-Luminati Tour, fans cannot stop talking about his performances or his kind gestures during the concert. Dosanjh has known how to win hearts, and in one such instance during his most recent live performance in Hyderabad, the singer stood up for a female fan who was being dissed for crying at his concert.
After his Jaipur show, a video of a woman crying inconsolably while listening to his songs went viral on social media and many began to troll her. However, Diljit Dosanjh slammed netizens for mocking her and said how it is alright to feel overwhelmed and express yourself.

Dosanjh said, "It's okay; it's okay to cry. Music is an emotion; it has a smile, it has a dance, it fights, it has a fall, it cries. I have also cried a lot listening to music. Only those who have emotions can cry. I got you, I got you, don't you worry about that. These girls--no one can stop them. They are independent; not only men but women earn, too. They earn and can enjoy themselves.”

Dosanjh also posted a video from his Hyderabad concert where he was seen telling the crowd to treat everyone with respect. "A woman who knows her worth doesn't need validation--she shines bright enough to light her own way. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24," he captioned the post.
