It's official! Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are now engaged. After a lot of rumours, on Thursday, Chaitanya's dad, actor Nagarjuna made the news official. Taking toX, the South Indian actorshared photos fromthe private engagement ceremony.
As per the reports,Naga and Sobhita gotengaged today at 9:42 amin a low-key ceremony organised at his father, Nagaarjuna's home in Hyderabad. The couple, who have been dating for a while now, got engaged in the presence of their close friends and family.
"We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness.God bless!" he wrote.
One snapshot showed the proud dad, Nagaarjun posing with his son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law Sobhita.
In the first photos released, the newly engaged couple looked adorable together. For their big day, Naga wore a ethenicwhite kurta pyjama. Meanwhile,Sobhita was looking elegant in a stunning peach silk saree. She accessorised her look with heavy South Indian Jewellery and tied her hair in a bun, adorned with a gajra (flower garland). She kept her makeupminimal makeup.

If reports are to be believed, Naga and Sobhita have been dating for a while now. Rumours of them dating first surfaced when they werecaptured at a London restaurant together. Later, photos of them holidaying in the same places added fuel to the speculations. However, the twomaintained a silence on their relationship.
Chaitanya's engagement comes three years after hisseparation from actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021.
