Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man trailer: Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby is in fight with his son Barry Keoghan

The wait is over. The trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is finally here, taking audiences back into the world of Thomas Shelby and what appears to be his final chapter.

The film is set years after the final season of Peaky Blinders, and viewers will finally learn what happened to Shelby. Helmed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is a continuation of the award-winning British television series.

The new trailer starts with Murphy as Tommy Shelby and Ada Shelby, and he had been told that Peaky Blinders has been run by his son, Duke (played by Barry Keoghan).

“Your gypsy son is running Peaky Blinders like it’s 1919 all over again,” Ada Shelby (Sophie Rundle) tells Tommy.

Set in World War II, and things are tough in England and even worse. As Birmingham has somehow forgotten Shelby, who has been living in exile. But it's his son Duke, who is now running the gang “like it's 1919 all over again.”

What will Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man be about?

“After being heavily bombed in WWII, Birmingham is building a better future out of concrete and steel,” the logline says. “In a new era of Steven Knight’s‘Peaky Blinders,’ the race to own Birmingham’s massive reconstruction project becomes a brutal contest of mythical dimensions. This is a city of unprecedented opportunity and danger: with the Shelby family right at its blood-soaked heart.”

The film is scheduled to release in limited screens on March 6, 2026, and on streaming giant Netflix on March 20, 2026.
