We don’t know what to make of this news. Bridgerton casting director recently revealed in a podcast “Should I Delete That?” that she’s been receiving a lot of videos from people interested in being cast in Bridgerton and she’s shook by the content – since they are all sexual in nature with many just being pure sex tapes.
Bridgerton casting director Kelly Valentine Hendry has been flooded with these kind of audition tapes and she doesn’t know why they are sending her sex videos because the show isn’t very big on it atleast not very graphically.

After a successful wrap of season 3 of Bridgerton, auditions are currently on for season 4 of the Netflix series.
On the podcast, Kelly said, “It’s every day … I get the most unbelievable videos, unsolicited. It’s sex basically. It’s not actual sex but it’s quite punchy. It’s not nude pictures, but not far off.”
According to the casting director, her inbox is always “90 percent” full of emails from fans seeking a part on Bridgerton.
Right now, Kelly reveals, most tapes come for the role of Sophie Beckett, who in the Bridgerton novels is the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson on the Netflix series).
As for the plot, the makers haven’t confirmed which love story they will be following in the new season.
What was season 3 in Bridgerton about?
Season 3 focused on the love story between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). Coughlan even asked to be naked on screen during the season in order to silence her body-shamers.
She said in an interview, “I specifically asked for certain lines and moments to be included. There’s one scene where I’m very naked on camera, and that was my idea, my choice. It just felt like the biggest ‘f..k you’ to all the conversation surrounding my body; it was amazingly empowering. I felt beautiful in the moment, and I thought: ‘When I’m 80, I want to look back on this and remember how fuc...g hot I looked!’”
The first three seasons of Bridgerton are currently streaming on Netflix.
