Plot of Downton Abbey 3
While not much is known about the new film, we do think it wll take off from where the 2022 film ended. A New Era ended in the late 1920s with the sad death of Maggie Smith’s grand Crawley matriarch, Lady Violet, who passed the torch to her granddaughter, Dockery’s Lady Mary.
Keeping it all in the family, Downton Abbey 3 is again being produced by Gareth Neame, Fellowes and Liz Trubridge. The film is a Carnival Films production, with Focus Features and Universal Pictures International distributing.
