Cher biopic in the works from Universal

Cher biopic is happening at Universal.

Oscar-winner Eric Roth is set to pen the screenplay for a feature film. It will span the life and career of multi-hyphenate entertainer, whose decades-long career has spanned music, television, fashion and film. The biopic will talk of her albums, expansive acting career and more. Cher also has a Best Actress Oscar for ‘Moonstruck’.

‘Mamma Mia!’ producers Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman are set to produce the project.
