Hailey Baldwin has reportedly kept her son Jack away from her parents, here's why

Things are not well between Hailey Baldwin Bieber and her parents, Stephen and Kennya Baldwin. Hailey gave birth to her and Justin Bieber's first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in August, and since then she has kept her boy away from her parents. 

Hailey has not been on good terms with her parents for some time now. However, things got worse when her father, Stephen, shared an Instagram post asking his fans to pray for Hailey and Justin when there were rumours that the couple was going through a rough patch. 

While the model was close to her mom Kennya, her relationship with her was affected after she got pregnant and reportedly kept it a secret for months. 

A source has told Daily Mail, ''Hailey’s relationship with her family has been eroding for some time now.''

The source added, ''She was closer with her mom, but that started to break down when she fell pregnant because she didn’t want to tell her family for months.''

Hailey has not been on great terms with her father. And, things got even worse when the Usual Suspects alum shared a post on his Instagram, urging his fans to pray for Justin and Hailey. 

The source added further, ''Hailey had a blowout with her family when her dad asked for prayers for Hailey and Justin, and she told him that she did not want him meddling in her life.''

Despite all the tensions going on in their personal lives, Hailey's father celebrated the birth of his grandchild.

Reacting to Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette's post on X, he wrote, ''Amen. Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.''

An insider claimed Stephen told his daughter that she wouldn't have even known the singer, if it wasn't for him making the introduction

Hailey has admitted in her interview that she's not very close to her family at this point in time. 

'I'm not super close with my family at this point in my life. Because I feel like I'm very independent, ''she told W Magazine.

''I'm my own individual now, and I've built my own family. But when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very fond, beautiful memories,'' she added. 

Another reason behind their strained relations is said to be their difference in opinions on politics and religious issues.

Tensions in Hailey's relationship with her family have also impacted Justin's bond with them. 

''Justin does not get along with her family and now that they have the baby, things are even more tense,'' the insider noted. ''He sees her family like he sees his family: dysfunctional and not out for their best interests.''

Justin and Hailey announced the birth of their baby on August 24. They have refrained from sharing the face of their baby.
