Former actor and film producer Krishan Kumar’s daughter Tishaa Kumar has passed away. Tisha, acousin of T-Series chairperson and film producer Bhushan Kumar, died on July 18 after her prolonged battle with cancer.
The young soul breathed her last in Germany where she was receiving treatment for the deadly disease.
An inside source told The Indian Express, "Tishaa was just 21. She was diagnosed with cancer and the family decided to take her to Germany for treatment. She passed away there on Thursday. It is a very sad time for the family."
Later, a statement was released by T-series, requesting privacy duringthis sensitive time. “Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that the family’s privacy be respected,” they saidin the statement.
Born on September 6, 2003, Tishaa was the daughter of Krishan and Tanya Singh. Not much information is available about her. However, as per Pinkvilla, she was a private person and was often spotted in public.
Her last public appearance was in November 2023 when she attended the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor's movie Animal. She posed for the shutterbugs with her father Krishan.
Krishan is a producer and former actor. Brother of the late legendary singer Gulshan Kumar, he has appeared in movies like Bewafa Sanam, Aaja Meri Jaan, Kasam Teri Kasam, and Shabnam. He's also the co-owner of T-Series with his nephew Bhushan.
He has produced hit films like Salman Khan's Ready, Kartik Aaryan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Taapsee Pannu's Thappad and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal.
