Emmy Awards 2019: 'Game Of Thrones', 'Veep' dominate the nomination list; see full list

The final season of 'Game Of Thrones' may have faced severe criticism from fans for its abrupt ending, but the series has got itself Emmy nod in several categories. 

The nominations were announced on Tuesday and has 'Game Of Thrones' leading in the drama categories. The series has  been nominated in the Outstanding Drama Series category along with 'This Is Us', 'Better Call Saul', 'Killing Eve, ''Pose', 'Succession',' Ozark', and 'Bodyguard.' 'GOT' also got several acting nominations with Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington earning nomination in leading role category. 

In total, 'Game of Thrones' final season earned 32 nominations — the most received in a single year by any show in the history of the Emmys.

While GOT featured prominently in drama category, Veep got maximum nods in the comedy category. Veep had not made it to the nominations in 2018 but in 2019, the final season has got nods in all comedy categories and will give a tough fight to Marvelous Mrs Maisel- which swept the category last year.
