Eminem's new album 'Kamikaze' on its way to the top of the charts worldwide

There were no pre-release promotions for this one. Only a simple announcement on social media made fans aware that Eminem's new album 'Kamikaze' was ready for release. But in four days since its release, the album has created magic- true to Eminem's style. 

The album is rising up the charts worldwide. In UK, the album made its debut on prime position. The “midweek” list shows that Eminem prominently at the top and affirming that the final figures come in on Friday, the 45-year-old rapper will be at the top of the list. The album is all set to become Eminem's ninth straight official British No. 1. 

In the US, the story is more or less the same. While he does face stiff competition from K pop boy band BTS, most feel he will be making his debut at the top as well. 

Eminem's last album 'Revival' in 2017 opened at number 1 position at Billboard making him the first artist in history to have eight straight chart entries. 

But 'Revival' got a mixed response and did not do as well as Eminem's albums usually do. Which is perhaps the reason that he decided to have a low-key release for latest 'Kamikaze'. But looking at the response that it has got in the four days, the impact on his fans is going to be anything but low key.
