Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney is attached to direct a film on Elon Musk. Life of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter will get a big screen release with Jigsaw Productions backing the film alongside Closer Media, Anonymous Content, and Double Agent.

In a statement, Alex Gibney said, “I have been working on this film, off and on, for some time and am hugely excited about it. I am delighted by this extraordinary group who are working with me. Onward!”

The film has been described as “a rigorous portrait” of Elon Musk that will “take on the challenge of examining” him and the impact he has on the world.

The filmmaker is known for making award-winning documentaries like Taxi to the Dark Side, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, and Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine.

Elon Musk is currently the world’s richest man after Tesla’s stock price rose to amp his net worth. He was recently in the news for firing more employees at Twitter.
