Ayushmann Khurrana’s last release, 'Article 15', had him playing a cop investigating a gruesome murder. In his latest, ‘Dream Girl’, Khurrana comes back to comedy - a genre which made him a star.
The trailer of the film was released on Monday and it promises to be a roaring comedy where Ayushmann play-acts as a sultry woman who speaks to people on a hotline number. In no time, Pooja, Ayushmann’s pseudonym finds many falling for her voice.
The film, like many of the actor’s previous hits, is based in a small town in northern India. It co-stars Vijay Raaz, Nushrat Bharucha and Anu Kapoor.
Produced by Ekta Kapoor, ‘Dream Girl’ is set to release in theatres on September 13.
